Art heals, transforms and empowers!

     World Poetry uses poetry, painting and digital art to empower children to thrive! We began as a children's  non-profit on the foundation of service and poetry and expanded our art division to include painting, nft's and digital art. 

Poetry:

     Our poetry programs build literary skills and phonemic awareness in children who've lived adverse childhood experiences (ace). Statistics indicate when children experience trauma early in life they are at a greater risk of entering the foster care system. Poetry and writing help children heal while building their confidence and literacy skills. 

Painting:

     Our painting sessions-Painting & Popsicles offers a fun and safe space for children to process their emotions.

    Our Artwork & Apples sessions includes painting and additional mediums of art-drawing, coloring and sculpture design that encourages children to process change during this pandemic.

Digital Art and NFT's-Our children are exploring the metaverse by creating NFT's through various apps and digital mediums. This is also an innovative way to preserve art forever. We will provide additional information soon.
